Troubleshooting Guide
❌ "Please wait a few minutes before you try again"
What it means:
Instagram has temporarily rate-limited our server. This happens when too many requests are made in a short time.
Why it happens:
Our server runs on a cloud platform (Vercel) that shares IP addresses with many other services. Instagram's anti-bot systems detect this and apply stricter limits compared to regular home internet connections.
Solutions:
- Wait 5-10 minutes and try again
- Try a different Instagram post URL
- Come back later - rate limits reset over time
🔌 "Cannot connect to backend server"
What it means:
The tool couldn't reach our server to process your request.
Possible causes:
- Your internet connection is down
- The server is temporarily offline for maintenance
- A firewall or browser extension is blocking the request
Solutions:
- Check your internet connection
- Try disabling ad blockers or privacy extensions
- Wait a few minutes and try again
🔒 "No media found in post"
What it means:
The tool couldn't find any images or videos in the Instagram post.
Possible causes:
- The post is private or has been deleted
- The URL is incorrect or incomplete
- The post contains only text or polls (no media)
- The account is private and you need to be logged in to view it
Solutions:
- Verify the URL is correct (should look like:
instagram.com/p/ABC123...) - Make sure the post is public
- Try a different post
⚠️ "Invalid Instagram URL"
What it means:
The URL format isn't recognized as a valid Instagram post or reel.
Correct URL formats:
https://www.instagram.com/p/SHORTCODE/https://www.instagram.com/reel/SHORTCODE/https://instagram.com/p/SHORTCODE/
Not supported:
- Profile URLs (
instagram.com/username) - Story URLs
- IGTV URLs (old format)
💡 Tips for Best Results
- Use public posts: Private accounts cannot be accessed
- Be patient: If you see a rate limit error, wait a few minutes
- Select images: Click on images to select which ones to download
- Downloads: Files save directly to your default download folder
